Biking advocacy org PeopleForBikes recently reported bikeability improvements in cities across the US, with e-bikes growing in popularity.
“Boats make even more sense to go electric than cars do,” Mitch Lee, Arc’s co-founder and CEO, tells Tech Brew.
“By extending the life of every e-bike that goes to our UpCenters, we can really avoid unnecessary waste and reduce the carbon footprint overall of the industry,” the French startup’s CEO tells Tech Brew.
“We set out to apply what I think has made Rivian really successful to date, which is a vertically integrated, technology platform-centric approach,” Chris Yu, Also’s co-founder and president, tells Tech Brew.
Micromobility solutions like scooters and bikeshare programs have gone through major ups and downs in the last 25 years. After some realignment, the sector aims to ride a fresh wave of interest.
“Going from descriptive to prescriptive is the next phase of connected vehicles, and that’s where Ford is going very, very quickly,” a Ford Pro executive tells Tech Brew.
